About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance, the Director of ADA Compliance provides strategic leadership for the university’s accessibility initiatives. In this role, you will oversee compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, and related regulations, ensuring equal access for students, employees, and visitors. You will also serve as the University’s ADA/504 Coordinator, guide accessibility improvements across campus and digital environments, and support broader equity and compliance efforts.

This role also works closely with the Title IX and Civil Rights functions to ensure continuity, cross-training, and collaborative compliance support across the university.

This position is hybrid and requires ongoing, regular commuting to our Manchester, NH campus.


What You’ll Do

Accessibility & ADA/504 Leadership

  • Serve as the University’s ADA/Section 504 Coordinator for students, employees, and visitors.
  • Lead campus-wide planning to improve the accessibility of programs, services, facilities, and digital platforms.
  • Develop, implement, and refine disability-related policies and accommodation processes.
  • Partner with faculty, HR, Student Affairs, Facilities, and IT to remove accessibility barriers and promote universal design.
  • Drive the university’s digital accessibility strategy, ensuring compliance with WCAG, Section 508, and related standards.
  • Conduct assessments of physical and digital spaces and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain confidential records of ADA/504 complaints, accommodations, and resolutions.
  • Provide training and outreach on disability inclusion and legal obligations under ADA/504.
  • Serve as the university’s subject matter expert on emerging accessibility standards and case law.

Compliance Program Support

  • Strengthen institutional practices related to accessibility, equity, and nondiscrimination.
  • Support compliance initiatives, risk assessments, audits, and reporting processes.
  • Develop data dashboards and reporting tools to track accommodations, grievances, trends, and compliance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with compliance partners to align ADA/504 work with Title IX and broader institutional standards.
  • Support updates to compliance-related web content and communications.

Title IX & Equity Collaboration

  • Serve as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, stepping in when needed to maintain continuity in investigations, documentation, and campus communication.
  • Assist with investigations, advising, adjudication, training, and case management related to sexual misconduct and equity concerns.
  • Participate in policy reviews to ensure consistency across accessibility, nondiscrimination, and harassment prevention frameworks.
  • Engage in cross-training with Title IX and Equity leadership to ensure shared understanding of processes across all areas.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in ADA/504 compliance or related areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA/504 in higher education.
  • Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (WCAG, accessible documents/web design).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to understand complex institutional structures.
  • Critical thinking, initiative, and a collaborative approach.

Compensation

Annual pay range:
$85,563.00 – $136,928.00

Expected hiring range:
$94,548.00 – $127,918.00

Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
